the heirloom stocking

…just finished for my youngest, a patchwork of her infant clothing:

Her older sister wants one too, but not for the sentimental value…

She wants one this BIG!

    I’m in the midst of stocking making myself. Did you line yours? With what?

    I lined it with plain white flannel, then used a band of white fleece to finish off the top.

    this is adorable! i hope you’ll be tucking a little extra surprise in that jean pocket. the white fabric with rows of flowers is near and dear to my heart – avery had that same romper when she was newborn.
